Salute to Our Troops

Our tree is dedicated to all those who have served past and current. A special heartfelt thank you to those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Also, to the families of our soldiers whose lives underwent significant change.

The tree has an array of ornaments that represent the bravery of what our country stands for. The yellow ribbon represents the men and women who serve in places far from home. The patches were given in appreciation as gifts from the different units and organizations personally to my own soldier who effortlessly served 33 years of service. The saber was given to him many years ago as a member of the United States Presidential honor guard in which he later became the superintendent. It represents the leader of the unit.

The camoflauge attire was worn to keep the soldiers hidden and protected. Last but not least, the red, white, and blue ribbon and ornaments symbolizes what our country stands for. The red symbolizes valor and heartiness, the white symbolizes purity and innocence, the blue symbolizes vigilance, persistence, and justice.


There are never enough words to express how grateful as a nation to have these great men and women keep us united.
